Composite and fiberglass parts
Fiberglass or composite consists of a resin, generally thermoset reinforced by fibers. However, today thermoplastic resins are also reinforced by fibers, and the most important are EP, the same as polyethylene.
Definition of composite or fiberglass
Whenever a resin bed is reinforced by the fiber so that the two components are melded together and create new and unique properties that none of the constituent parts alone have those properties, they are referred to as composites.
